Before Home Recording Academy, I had a smattering of knowledge but it was all over the place. I suddenly realized I had been intimidated in the past by what I thought was my lack of knowledge. After attending one of Isobel’s workshops, I just decided to take the plunge and enroll in Home Recording Academy because of her teaching style and approach to those around her.

HRA draws together all the knowledge you need and gives you so much more. It has improved my confidence more than I ever expected it to. I love that it is so easy to work through in your own time and there is loads of support, not just from Isobel but the whole community too who are all on the same journey. I now have the tech skills for setting up my space and recording efficiency too.

I can hold my head up high knowing I am as valid in the recording studio as others. I am writing an album, playing and recording regularly and recording at least once per week and actually putting it online. Even if it’s not perfect, or in my eyes perfect, I am being more proactive.
