Are you a woman in music and either from a marginalised ethnicity, living with a disability or chronic illness or trans/AFAB non-binary?

If so, you can apply for a fully funded scholarship to take part in Home Recording Academy, Isobel's trail blazing, feminist, music technology course.

HRA significantly developed my production skills, and the knowledge I gained inside the programme even led to paid audio work down the line.

I would definitely recommend any budding producers apply for an HRA scholarship!

Over 400 women have now taken Home Recording Academy

Isobel shares...

"Without a scholarship,
I’d never be where I am today."

As a musician starting out, I had given up on the idea of ever releasing my music and felt utterly defeated by my lack of money, time and recording expertise. A friend told me about a scholarship scheme for an MA in Sonic Arts and, feeling I had nothing left to lose, I applied.

Getting that scholarship gave me the chance to develop life-skills in recording, production and music technology that have lead me to self-producing and self-releasing four albums with over 25M+ Spotify streams, gaining an AHRC funded PhD in Sonic Arts and starting a feminist music tech movement in Home Recording Academy.

Although I’m white, middle class, cis, straight and was at the time totally able-bodied, still none of this would have been possible without that scholarship as I could never have afforded the fees myself.

This is why I am committed to offering Home Recording Academy scholarships to female musicians from under-represented groups.

So, go on...
